A Letter to Parents
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year. This is such an exciting time for your child. My name is Mrs. Arvizu, the K-2 teacher at Metropolitan Junior Academy, and it is my absolute pleasure to be your child’s teacher. I am confident we will have an outstanding school year. This year will be one of excitement, growth, and opportunity, academically, socially, and spiritually. I will guide and encourage your child, celebrating each step of the way as he or she gains a love of learning, self-confidence and the academic skills that form a foundation for continued success.
I applaud you as parents for giving your child a Christian Education and preparing them for eternity. This is a letter of my commitment to assure you that this school year will be an extraordinary experience. My goal is for students to be able to write convincingly, read extensively, think critically and creatively. Above all, I want my students to grow spiritually and have a loving relationship with Jesus.
I pledge to care for each child’s individual and social needs throughout the year and show them that school is a safe, consistent place to learn and explore. I love teaching and look forward to caring, supporting, and encouraging your child daily as we embark on the wonderful adventure of learning.
Again, I am so happy to be your child’s teacher and I am looking forward to getting to know your family throughout the school year! Working together, we can help your child succeed. My e-mail [email protected]. Please let me know if you need to talk about anything.
In His service and yours,
Mrs. Arvizu
